Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years of inpatient RN experience.

• Certifications: RN license (IDFPR IL), ACLS within 1 year, BLS within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Performs all nursing duties specific to the unit.
• Implements procedures and theories for the practice area.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation for the healthcare team.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops a care plan.
• Implements and adjusts the care plan and nursing interventions.
• Ensures patient and employee safety, reports hazards.
• Communicates with team, provides feedback for peers’ development.
• Identifies learning needs and pursues solutions.
• Fulfills departmental competency requirements.
• Floats to multiple inpatient units as needed.
• Provides direct nursing care and collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
• Documents assessments, diagnoses, plans, interventions, and evaluations.
• Precepts staff and coordinates care with multidiscipline team.
