Job summary

Adventist HealthCare's White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Float Pool II. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and teamwork in a faith-based health system in Maryland.

The position is per diem with a $60/hour rate, 24 hours per week, day shifts, and rotating weekends. Eligible for shift differential and a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACL S, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Passing score on NCLEX.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care according to patient population.
• Identify changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action.
• Mentor students, colleagues and team members in patient-centered care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding from patient and family perspective.
• Apply findings from literature to practice.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and evidence-based practice.
