BJC HealthCare seeks an experienced RN for the Special Float Pool at Memorial Hospital Belleville and Memorial Hospital Shiloh. This full-time night-shift role offers clinical variety across ICU, ED, and medical telemetry on two Magnet-recognized campuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of acute care experience.
• RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; NIHSS (PALS preferred for ED).
• Telemetry interpretation experience.
• Strong IV therapy skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Participates in patient safety, quality and regulatory activities.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe performance of duties.
