Job summary

You will develop productive relationships, teach patients and families, apply the nursing process, and participate in quality improvement and shared governance to improve patient care.

Responsibilities

• Develops productive working relationships internally and externally, demonstrates accountability, and communicates safety hazards identified in the workplace.
• Provides teaching to patients and families, may precept, and creates an environment encouraging feedback and learning.
• Applies the nursing process within Relationship Based Care to plan and communicate patient care with a holistic focus, including patient involvement.
• Demonstrates accountability for professional development, participates in unit-based governance, and supports change and quality initiatives.
• Identifies opportunities for quality improvement and uses evidence-based practice to improve patient care and patient satisfaction.
