Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool to provide safe patient care across multiple units. The role requires flexibility to float between two or more units, with a 12-hour day shift (7:00am–7:30pm) and a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Applicants must have an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and related certifications; BSN preferred. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package and a total rewards approach.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certificate required at hire and current.
• ACLS certificate required within 30 days of hire.
• PALS certificate required within 30 days for floating to ER/OR/PACU/ Day Patient.
• NRP and Basic Fetal monitoring or AWHONN within 90 days for employees floating to Women’s Services.
• TNCC within 12 months for employees floating to Emergency Department.
• BSN preferred.
• Able to float to two or more units and maintain competency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process; float to two or more units as needed.
• Direct patient/family teaching and coordinate with physicians; maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
