Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC seeks an experienced Nurse for independent, complex patient care in a critical care setting. You will apply the nursing process, manage patient flow, and educate patients and families while ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance across the unit.

The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective delegation, and collaboration with care teams to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of combined experience in critical care and another specialty; 5 years preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license, BLS, ACLS required; PALS and NRP at specific facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care using critical thinking and the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers to optimize throughput.
• Supervise unit functions, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Promote patient safety, participate in quality improvement, and communicate effectively across care teams.
• Document patient information accurately, interpret patient charts, and manage medical orders.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, addressing physiological and psychological patient needs.
