Job summary

Backus Hospital is seeking Resource Center RNs to join our float pool. You will cover various units across the hospital, delivering compassionate, high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

Applicants must be a graduate of a school of nursing with 1 year of acute RN experience, an unrestricted CT RN license, and active BLS. ACLS certification for Critical Care is required for the track, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One (1) year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide float pool nursing coverage for Backus Hospital across patient populations.
• Deliver the highest quality of care to patients and families in a fast-paced environment.
