Job summary

Backus Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare in Connecticut, is seeking a RN to join the Resource Center Float Pool. This role involves providing direct patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on a 24 hours per week schedule, including every other weekend and holidays.

The ideal candidate will hold a CT RN license and nursing degree, with BLS; ACLS for Critical Care track preferred. Opportunities for advancement and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One (1) year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as part of the Float Pool for Backus Hospital.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Meet department certifications and continuous education requirements.
