Job summary

Hartford HealthCare's Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT is hiring Resource Center RNs for a 7pm–7:30am, 36‑hour week including every other weekend. You will join a float pool delivering high‑quality care across patient populations and collaborate with a skilled team.

The role requires graduating from a school of nursing, an active CT RN license, BLS, and ACLS for Critical Care track, plus 1 year of acute RN experience. We offer competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• One (1) year recent acute RN experience.
• Current unrestricted State of CT Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for Critical Care track.
• Ability to obtain and maintain department specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Care for diverse patient populations as part of the Float Pool.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain certifications and adapt to department needs.
