Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks a registered nurse for the 34102 Atrium Health Stanly Nursing Float Pool. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with 7 a.m. shifts, three nights per week, including holidays per policy and rotating weekends.

The RN will engage in governance and quality initiatives, use the nursing process, monitor patients, and ensure safe, evidence-based care. A BSN and RN licensure with BLS are required, with typical 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• RN license active and in good standing.
• BLS certification required; other certifications may be required based on specialty.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and updates care plans accordingly.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
