Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Physical Therapist to support a float pool across four inpatient facilities and three acute care sites. The role requires versatile clinical skills and the ability to work across locations.

You will evaluate patients, develop evidence-based care plans, educate patients and families, document thoroughly, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. 36-hour weeks with a competitive pay range are offered.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• DPT preferred or commensurate with date of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate PT evaluations and plans of care.
• Perform musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary assessments.
• Establish goals, monitor outcomes, and educate patients and caregivers.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and billing.
