Job summary

White Oak Medical Center seeks an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Float Pool. The role supports nursing care, performs vital signs and ADL tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and participates in ongoing education. Strong MD CNA credentials and BLS are required.

Employment Type: Variable Part-time, Night Shift. Salary ranges from $19.64 to $25.84 per hour with weekend rotation and shift differential eligibility.

Qualifications

• Maryland CNA license required.
• CNA exam passed after program.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and ADL assistance under RN supervision.
• Follow the care plan as delegated by the RN.
• Receive report from the RN and ensure safety.
• Participate in education programs and professional initiatives.
• Identify and report malfunctioning equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment.
