White Oak Medical Center is actively seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician for our Float Pool. The role supports nursing staff by performing vital signs and ADL tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include following the care plan, ensuring safety, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. A strong emphasis on professional development and teamwork is evident throughout the program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Maryland CNA license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and routine nursing tasks under RN supervision.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Follow care plans and report to the RN.
• Maintain a culture of safety and clean work areas.
• Participate in education and professional initiatives.
• Demonstrate a professional image for nursing and the organization.
