The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and compassionate care. BLS is required and a CNA license may be mandated by state practice. This position supports infection control and patient comfort across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology.
• 1+ years of acute care experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• CNA license as mandated by state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized and stocked for safety.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and care team to support safety and quality.
