Responsibilities

• Collects, labels and transports specimens as assigned.
• Obtains 12 lead EKGs.
• Discontinues Saline Locks and Indwelling Urinary Catheters.
• Performs hourly patient rounding in collaboration with the RN.
• Responds to patient call lights and requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• Maintains patient safety and a safe clinical environment.
