Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its float pool, providing direct patient care across units as needed. The role requires a current CNA certification, strong communication, and flexibility to work in various environments.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification in the state of practice.
• BLS for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates must have a current CNA certification and previous experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care across units including activities of daily living.
• Report and document patient care findings promptly and seek assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients as assigned.
• Transport medications to the RN on the unit.
• Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team for optimal patient care.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator responsibilities.
• Implement plan of care as delegated and follow regulatory standards.
• Maintain a safe environment by following safety policies and emergency procedures.
