Job summary

Intermountain Health in Lafayette, Colorado is seeking a Patient Care Technician (CNA) to support the patient care team across multiple units. You will perform basic patient care tasks and may serve as a Health Unit Coordinator as needed.

This full-time float position requires a current Colorado CNA license and at least one year of CNA experience. Expect 36 hours per week with a 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. shift and occasional holiday/weekend coverage, with an incremental 10% float differential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Colorado CNA certification.
• BLS for healthcare providers required.
• Basic computer literacy skills expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen, hydration, ambulation).
• Record and report patient care findings promptly; seek help as needed.
• Monitor patients; may perform telemetry and collaborate with the care team.
• Transport medications to RN; assist with unit coordination when needed.
• Support the RN and team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May assume Health Unit Coordinator duties (phones, orders, records).
• Follow Plan of Care and regulatory standards; maintain safety.
