Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team across Clinton Township and surrounding Macomb County locations. The role involves venipuncture across all age groups, specimen collection, and patient data handling with travel between sites.

The position offers an incentive program and comprehensive benefits, including a schedule that may require overtime and weekend coverage. Previous phlebotomy experience and a valid license are preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
