Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Slidell, LA. This role performs blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages, enters data accurately, processes billing information, and travels to additional sites as needed.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, with hours between 6:00am–6:00pm and rotating Saturdays. A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years phlebotomy experience are required; a Phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience; certification preferred.
• Vaccination against COVID-19 or accommodation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Enter patient information accurately and support billing processes.
• Travel to additional sites as needed to collect samples.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain logs.
