Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Houma, LA. You will travel between clinics, perform venipuncture and capillary collections for all ages, and enter data accurately while delivering excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analyze distribution of samples.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs and documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
