Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Worcester, MA team. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, with travel to other sites as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training, or at least 6 months of phlebotomy experience. Excellent customer service and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6+ months phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency if work experience is limited.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
