Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in the Portland, Oregon area. You will provide patient blood collections, handle specimen processing, and support client sites as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred phlebotomy certification and the ability to travel to multiple sites. A quarterly incentive program and a differential of $2.00/hour plus mileage reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or training preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and tests.
• Enter patient information accurately into database.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
