Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our Kennewick, WA team. You will perform skilled blood collections, handle specimen processing, and provide excellent patient service. This role offers growth opportunities within Labcorp’s patient service network.

The position requires a WA phlebotomy license, at least 21 years old with a clean driving record, and the ability to travel between sites. Expect a friendly, team-driven environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Washington State phlebotomy license.
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience.
• Able to pass color blindness test.
• Be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• Valid Driver's License
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
