Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN. The role involves venipuncture, specimen collection, and providing excellent patient service at multiple sites including Patient Service Centers and Client offices.

Shifts are typically Mon-Fri, with possible Saturdays, early start times, and travel to various local sites. The role offers continued growth within Labcorp’s expansive network and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience required.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
