Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join the team in Louisville, Kentucky. This casual/per diem role covers locations in the Louisville metropolitan area and requires flexibility to work at various sites, including weekends and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen collection for various tests, accurate data entry, and billing support. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
