Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our Evansville, IN team. The role involves venipuncture and capillary blood collection across multiple sites, data entry, and patient service. You will travel between sites as needed and support various testing workflows.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong customer service and communication skills. The position requires flexibility, valid driver's license, and ability to pass color vision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
