Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to provide patient-centered laboratory support across PSC sites. Responsibilities include venipuncture, specimen labeling, Epic registration, and supporting non-blood specimen collection.

The role requires flexibility to travel between PSC locations with short notice, and a commitment to quality, safety, and service excellence in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy program completion certificate or documented competency with at least 100 venipunctures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Epic or other electronic health record systems.
• Strong customer service skills and effective communication.
• Willingness to travel to any PSC location with short notice.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-centered registration, laboratory, and diagnostic services in PSC settings.
• Performs venipuncture for patients across all ages with proper labeling and handling.
• Accurately documents and processes specimens and orders in the EHR.
• Supports Epic registration workflows and kiosk registration activities.
• Travel between PSC locations to cover staffing needs and absences.
