Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow.
• Provides training to phlebotomists to ensure competency.
• Provides data input for payroll in absence of supervisor.
• Acts as a technical resource for difficult phlebotomy draws.
• Ensures rounds are completed as scheduled and supports timely blood draws.
• Interacts with patients, site staff, physicians and assistants.
• Shares on-call duties.
• Provides input for performance appraisals.
• Ensures 24/7 coverage for inpatient rounds.
