Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a flexible Lead/Float Phlebotomist to strengthen our Patient Service Centers. This role covers for PTO, absences, and openings across PSCs, helping reduce patient wait times and support new center openings.

You will collect specimens, enter patient data, and perform routine phlebotomy duties while collaborating with the Phlebotomy Supervisor and staff to ensure accuracy and patient satisfaction at multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree welcomed.
• Strong communication and attention to detail essential.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; lab experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy and related services for patients.
• Validate or enter demographics, insurance, and orders in the system.
• Collect specimens by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the lab and support PSC operations.
