Genoa Healthcare, a part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Float Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy operations in Fairfax, VA. Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The role requires an active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license is required.
• 1+ year of Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Complies with federal and state requirements in pharmacy operations.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
• Maintains professional communication with team and customers.
