Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum, is seeking a Float Pharmacy Technician to support 12 Tucson locations and in-clinic pharmacies. Dispensing prescriptions and clerical duties occur under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Coverage across sites is required with shifts from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, including a lunch break. Arizona license must be active and unrestricted, or a Trainee license with eligibility to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license.
• Ability to cover all 12 Tucson sites and work 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinics.
• Fill prescription orders under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain inventory records.
• Assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Perform clerical duties related to the department.
