Job summary

Genoa Healthcare in Rhode Island seeks a Float Pharmacist to provide patient-centered pharmacy services across multiple Rhode Island locations, with immunization administration as allowed by state boards. You will float between Providence, Barrington, Hope Valley, Newport, Warwick, Riverside, and Woonsocket pharmacies, with hours and duties aligned to on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacyor PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in state of Rhode Island.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within three months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
