Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a full-time Float Pharmacist to support on-site pharmacies in the South Greater Boston Area, including Quincy. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with no nights or weekends.

Responsibilities include dispensing, counseling, and immunization administration where permitted by state boards. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, Massachusetts pharmacist license, and eligibility to immunize within 3

Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license in Massachusetts
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use
• Focuses on a superior level of customer service
• Ensures compliance with state pharmacy laws
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by state boards
• Other usual and customary pharmacy duties
