Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities related to processing prescriptions. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with Home Location in Huntington, IN and 22 additional locations across Northern Indiana.

Requires a Pharmacist degree, Indiana licensure, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Immunization certification preferred and experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• Current and unrestricted pharmacist licensure in Indiana.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Reliable Transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Travel up to 50%.
