Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a full-time Float Pharmacist to support our on-site pharmacies in Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island. The role requires a NY pharmacist license and immunization certification or plan to become one within 3 months.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no nights or weekends. The float pharmacist will distribute prescriptions, inform customers about medications, and ensure compliance with state pharmacy laws while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current pharmacist license in the state of New York.
• Certified immunizer or willing to become one within 3 months of hire.
• Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners.
• Provides information to customers about medications and their use.
• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service.
• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy.
• Performs other usual and customary pharmacy duties.
