Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Per Diem Float Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health pharmacy and related clinics. You will dispense prescriptions under supervision and handle clerical duties across multiple sites.

The role requires a Nebraska license and reliable transportation for coverage in Fremont, Columbus, and Omaha locations. Strong customer service and adherence to regulations are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties related to the department.

We seek aPer Diem FloatPharmacyTechnicianto support allfunctionsof the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medicalprescriptions,andperformingnecessary clerical duties while under the direct supervisionof aRegisteredPharmacist.

Hours:Per Diem working on a need basis covering PTO, callouts and other business needs. Location hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician licenseinthe state of Nebraska or the ability to obtain prior to start date

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous technician experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment
