This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with EMR systems. Prior authorization experience is a plus, with benefits including health insurance options and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in healthcare administration (required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of medical practice procedures, terminology, and EMR systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with insurance verification and pre-authorization procedures (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service at check-in and check-out
• Collect and record accurate demographic and insurance information
• Process insurance verifications, pre-authorizations, and referrals
• Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
• Collect patient responsibility payments, including copays, coinsurance, and prior balances
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner
• Support providers and staff with administrative needs for smooth clinic operations
