Job summary

Illinois Bone & Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) invites applications for a Float MRI Technologist (Full Time, 40 hours). The role covers Westmont and New Lenox locations and requires Illinois IEMA, ARRT in MRI and Radiography, plus CPR.

Travel to facilities is expected and teamwork with physicians, radiologists, and staff is essential. Ideal candidates bring experience in high-stress settings and a patient-focused approach, ensuring safe, accurate imaging and clear communication throughout the

Qualifications

• Current state of Illinois IEMA Certification.
• Current ARRT Certification in both Radiography and MRI.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience working in high-stress environments.
• Ability to travel to different facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment for MRI to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients in a calm, informative manner.
• Maintain patient safety and aseptic technique during procedures.
• Coordinate with radiologists and other health professionals.
• Troubleshoot scanners and peripheral equipment to minimize downtime and delays.
