Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC (IBJI) is seeking a Float MRI Technologist for full-time coverage at Westmont and New Lenox locations. The role requires Illinois IEMA certification, ARRT in Radiography and MRI, CPR certification, and the ability to travel between facilities.

Ideal candidates are skilled in magnetic resonance imaging, patient communication, and teamwork, with experience in high-stress environments and orthopedic settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state of Illinois IEMA Certification.
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography and MRI.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience working in high-stress environments.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to travel to different facilities as needed.
• Ability to work as a team with receptionists, physicians, and clinical staff.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Explain the MRI process to patients and address concerns.
• Maintain patient safety and aseptic technique.
• Collaborate with radiologists and health care staff.
• Troubleshoot scanners and peripheral equipment to minimize downtime.
• Travel to different facilities as needed and cover Westmont/New Lenox locations.
