Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Float MRI/CT Technologist for full-time coverage at Des Plaines, Glenview and Morton Grove facilities. Ideal candidates hold Illinois IEMA certification, ARRT in Radiography and MRI, CPR, and can operate a C-arm for arthrograms.

The role requires excellent patient care, the ability to work in high‑stress environments, and willingness to travel between facilities as needed. Orthopedic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state of Illinois IEMA Certification.
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiography and MRI.
• Able to operate C-arm to perform arthrograms.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience working in high-stress environments.
• Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to travel to different facilities as needed.
• Ability to work as a team with receptionists, physicians, and clinical staff.
• Orthopedic experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs to waist height.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and generate high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients, addressing concerns.
• Maintain patient safety and aseptic technique.
• Coordinate with radiologists and clinical staff.
• Troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Adhere to facility policies and safety guidelines.
