Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Float MRI/CT Technologist for full-time coverage at Des Plaines, Glenview and Morton Grove facilities. Ideal candidates hold Illinois IEMA certification, ARRT in Radiography and MRI, CPR, and can operate a C-arm for arthrograms.

The role requires excellent patient care, the ability to work in high‑stress environments, and willingness to travel between facilities as needed. Orthopedic experience is preferred.

IBJI has a Float MRI/CT Technologist opportunity (Full Time 40 hours). This position will provide coverage as needed at these locations: Des Plaines, Glenview and Morton Grove. Ideal Candidates must have current state of Illinois IEMA Certification, ARRT Certification in both Radiography and MRI and are able to operate C-arm to perform arthrograms.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate equipment for imaging and anything related on various areas of the body in order to provide high quality images and information for patient diagnosis.
• Address patient concerns during the procedures, and explain the MRI process to the patient in a way that is informative but also reassuring.
• Use tact, courtesy and poise when dealing with patients, keeping them calm and ensuring that they get the best care possible.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other health care professionals.
• Troubleshoot peripheral equipment and scanners to ensure that equipment is operating properly to avoid downtime or delays that affect patient satisfaction.
• Ensure patient safety with aseptic injection technique and pre-screening for any contra-indications before the procedure.
• Ability to use C-arm when needed
• Handle high-stress environments in a calm manner when treating patients, co-workers, and physicians.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
