Job summary

Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate full-time Medical Assistant float for Wasatch Internal Medicine. You will provide essential support to clinicians, take vital signs, administer immunizations, and help keep exam rooms ready to ensure smooth patient flow.

In this role, strong communication and teamwork are essential as you will triage calls, manage insurance authorizations, document patient information, and collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducting telephone triage and communicating with parents/guardians.
• Managing insurance authorizations and prior approvals.
• Recording vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, height, weight, etc.).
• Administering immunizations.
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Preparing and maintaining exam rooms.
• Accurately documenting patient information.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
