Balance Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support physicians and the care team across multiple clinics. The Floating MA will perform clinical and administrative duties, drive between Salt Lake City area locations as needed, and help maintain patient flow and documentation with a focus on quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year MA experience, CPR certification, and proficiency with EMR systems, providing flexible coverage and strong communication to ensure efficient

Formación

• Minimum 1 year medical assistant experience.
• Current American Heart Association CPR Certification.
• Certification from an approved medical assistant program or equivalent.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and respond to emergencies.
• Strong attention to detail and patient confidentiality (HIPAA).

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients on the phone and in person.
• Assist providers during examinations, treatments and procedures.
• Take vital signs and perform ancillary tests as appropriate.
• Prepare and set up exam rooms and maintain supplies.
• Maintain accurate patient files in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient services across multiple practices and communicate clearly.
• Cross-train for front desk duties to support clinic operations.
