Job summary

Balance Health in Utah is seeking a Floating Medical Assistant to support physicians and the care team across primary and specialty clinics. You will greet patients, take vitals, assist during procedures, maintain charts, and ensure smooth patient flow while complying with HIPAA.

The role requires 1+ year MA experience, completed MA program, CPR certification, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ years medical assistant experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certification from an approved MA program or equivalent training.
• Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and adapt to technology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate patient services and explain processes.
• Experience with outpatient practice and EMR input.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients on the phone and in person.
• Drive between multiple Utah locations as needed.
• Places patients in exam rooms and takes vital signs.
• Assists providers during examinations and procedures.
• Keeps accurate patient files and maintains room stock.
• Maintains HIPAA and a sanitized work environment.
• Coordinates services across practices with strong communication.
• Performs administrative tasks and supports front desk as needed.
