Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered Medical Assistant Certification / Certified Nursing Assistant; and current BLS / CPR certification required
• 3 years experience as Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant preferred
• Travel to clinics in Reno, Carson City, Fernley, and surrounding areas required
• Proficient in medical office procedures, front office / administrative expertise
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Proficiency in basic computer programs and operating systems, such as Microsoft Office, and minor database retrieval
• Ability to learn and become proficient in multiple EMRs
• Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and professionalism in all interactions
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Experience with chronic disease management, understanding of HEDIS, preventative health measures, and working with a Geriatric Population
