Job Opportunity: Member Outreach Representative

Immediate need for a talented Member Outreach Representative. This is a 5+ months contract to hire opportunity with long-term potential, located in US (Remote {PST}). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if interested.

Pay Range: $21.50 - $22/hour. Employee benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k), and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work hours: 8 am – 5 pm PST, no overtime. Candidates must be able to work PST hours (no CA candidates due to additional requirements, pay, schedule, etc.)
  • Make outbound calls daily to remind members about Care Gaps, such as preventative visits, and to complete the Health Risk Assessment if due.
  • Outreach targets Medicare members, primarily those over 65 or with Medicare due to health issues.
  • Supportive team culture with daily chats, monthly online meetings, and ongoing feedback.
  • Entry-level position with opportunities for advancement after 1 year as a full-time employee.
  • Assign at least 30 members daily for outreach. Make one call attempt per day to the listed number; if invalid, attempt to contact the PCP for a valid number.
  • If contact is made, review Care Gaps, discuss Health Risk Assessment, assist with scheduling, and address questions.
  • Make up to four additional calls at different times if initially unsuccessful.
  • Target: 30 new members daily, 125 weekly, 600 monthly.
  • Maintain an audit score of 90% or higher.
  • Meet a 10-day Turnaround Time (TAT).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Relevant skills: Medicare customer service, outbound/member outreach, call center experience.
  • High School diploma or GED (must have verifiable education).
  • At least 18 months of experience with a health plan or in a health-related industry.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
