Job summary

SynergenX Health seeks a Float Medical Assistant to support multiple Nashville-area clinics, bringing energy and adaptability to a fast-paced healthcare setting.

No MA certification is required, and we provide two weeks of paid, hands-on training to help you learn our processes and grow with the team. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities to advance within the clinics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 months of relevant medical experience OR 180 externship hours.
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and IM/subcutaneous injections preferred.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and create a friendly, comfortable experience.
• Take manual patient vitals.
• Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture.
• Administer IM and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider.
• Prepare and process laboratory testing.
• Maintain lab equipment and documentation.
• Complete quality control documentation.
• Assist with inventory and ordering.
• Support front desk duties when needed.
• Work alongside providers and clinic teams to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Be flexible and jump in where needed to keep the clinic moving.

As a Float MA, you'll support multiple Nashville-area clinics, work alongside different teams and providers, meet new patients, and help keep the day running smoothly.

What You'll Do

You'll help create a positive patient experience while supporting our providers and clinic teams.

Depending on the day and location, you may:

• Welcome patients and create a friendly, comfortable experience

This Is a Float Role — Flexibility Matters

As a Float Medical Assistant, you'll support our Nashville-area clinics based on business needs.

You must be willing and able to travel between:

• Franklin
• Hendersonville
• Murfreesboro

Clinic Hours

• Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

2–3 Saturdays per month are required. When you work a Saturday, you'll receive a weekday off.
