Job summary

SynergenX Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Pineville clinic. You will welcome patients, take vitals, perform phlebotomy, injections, and assist providers with procedures to keep the clinic running smoothly.

You’ll support front desk tasks, maintain clean clinical areas, and help with lab processing. Training is provided; weekends or evenings may be required, and a friendly, energetic approach is essential to patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR 180 externship hours.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, positive experience.
• Taking manual patient vitals.
• Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture.
• Administering IM and subcutaneous injections as directed.
• Assisting providers with minor procedures.
• Preparing and processing laboratory testing.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and quality-control records.
• Maintaining clean, organized, sterile clinical areas.
• Helping with inventory and clinic organization.
• Supporting front desk duties when needed.
• Working with teammates to keep patient flow running smoothly.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED - proof required
• At least 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR completion of 180 documented externship hours
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Medical Assistant experience preferred, but not required
• MA or Phlebotry certification preferred, but not required
• Experience with minor procedures is a plus
• Basic knowledge of EMR systems, HIPAA, and clinical safety practices
• Must pass a criminal background check

Don't Have Your MA Certification?

That's okay!

Certification isn't required. We provide 2 full weeks of paid, hands-on training to help you learn our processes and get comfortable in the role.

Schedule

Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Clinic hours:

• Monday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM-7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM-12:00 PM

2-3 Saturdays Per Month Required.
