Job summary

Solis Mammography in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking a Float Mammography Technologist to perform mammography procedures across centers. This full-time role requires precise positioning, high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care.

Certification in Mammography (ARRT) and Texas Liscense (TMB) are required, with MQSA/FDA CEU requirements. Relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus are available for qualified technologists.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Medical Board License (TMB).
• Current ARRT Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documented clinical experience.
• Two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology completed.
• MQSA/FDA CEU: 15 CEUs every 3 years and 200 documented case numbers every 2 years.
• Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide mammography services and support for diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain high accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques.
• Communicate procedures clearly to patients about mammography and breast health.
• Coordinate with doctors and staff across centers.
• Demonstrate Solis Way in every interaction and maintain patient-first focus.

Float Mammography Technologist

Relocation Assistance Eligible for Qualified Technologists.

Work Location: Float Coverage for Dallas/Fort Worth Solis Centers

Work Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Varied Hours Based on the Center Needs (Occasional Saturdays Required)

The Float Mammography Technologist operates x-ray equipment and performs a variety of mammography-related diagnostic procedures. Individual must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.

Here Is What You Will Need

• Texas Medical Board License - TMB
• Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.

A Day in the Life of a Float Mammography Technologist

• Provide services and support for the following areas:
  • Understands, promotes and demonstrates the Solis Way
  • Consistently practices excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique;
  • Ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health;
  • Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees;
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complicated, written or oral instructions;
  • Must maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills;
