Job summary

RHA Health Services in North Carolina is seeking a Float Pool Direct Support Professional to assist designated units with staffing when vacancies arise and to support individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs. You will help implement centered plans and provide person-centered care.

Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts and weekend work on occasion. Training, licensure maintenance, and CPR certification are expected as part of ongoing competency checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct caregiving experience in an IDD setting.
• CPR certification and required trainings must be current.

Responsibilities

• Assist designated units with staffing needs, including vacancies and census fluctuations.
• Identify and communicate individuals' requests and needs for services and supports.
• Implement services to address each person’s goals and ensure centered planning is followed.
